First menses, burgeoning sensuality, we honor our late adolescent selves. With the power and sacredness of awakening sexuality; the Maypole enters Earth Mother. The pole is slowly wrapped with an intricate braid of colorful ribbons as participants joyously dance and weave their way around the pole.
Spring flowers sway in the breeze spreading their tantalizing fragrances. Bees are busily flitting from flower to flower, tasting and fertilizing. As we walk through this blooming earth with friends, sisters, and lovers, we realize that passionate love takes many forms and that the earth is your greatest lover.
