2025 Ritual Outline: The activities below were the main focus of the ritual. There were other activities that created the intention of honoring ourselves and our connection to the caring energy that surrounds us.
Ho'Oponopono Prayer: (2025) The Ho'Oponopono prayer is a Hawaiian prraticee of reconciliation and forgiveness, simplified into a four-phrase mantra: I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love  you...
2025 Creating a Women's Wisdom Deck: ... Creating a card deck with each of us contributing a card..."Inspiration evolved to thinking about how to capture the wisdom from each person in a fun and doable way..." (Included is a visualiation leading women to discover the piece of wisdom they want to share which would become one of the cards in the deck. Eventually we all made a deck of wisdom cards by writing on a blank card the phrase another woman gifted us.)

Samhain Ritual 2023: We brought a picture of a loved one that's passed. The ritual included a visualization where we shared with the loved one something that no longer serves us in our lives and let it go. Also made clove balls out of oranges as we sat, there was a power stone and we looked in a mirror to annoint and cherish ourselves.

Samhain Ritual 2021-(Zoom) We put a veil over our heads and listened to a meditation making peace with someone who passed on, then wrote in our journal. In breakout rooms (small groups) we discussed our ancestors.

Samhain Ritual 2020:  During this ritual mediums were introduced. Unfortunately  the meditation and visualization is not available. And then, "Come join the dance with our departed."

Samhain Ritual Outline 2017:  During this ritual, each activity carefully led us deeper, into connecting to our ancestors (on our maternal and paternal sides). We explored how their experiences have influenced who we are now.  Journeying inward, using Sufi dance, poetry, blessings and through a powerful visualization, we focused on gratitude and forgiveness.  We also deepened our connection to Earth. The ritual culminated with a Ho'oponopono ceremony, a Hawaiian ritual.  In groups of four, we spoke these words to each aspect- paternal, maternal and Earth: I am sorry. / Please forgive me. / I love you. / and Thank you. It was very, very healing for each of us. (Clicking on the outline above will take you to the complete ritual.)

Samhain Ritual Outline 2016: (The outline includes all introductions, poems and visualizations.)  Intention: 1. Write your own Autobituary; 2. Go behind the veil visualization and speak to a departed soul; 3. Be present at your own celebration of life as you lay in state and receive from your sisters, words of how you enriched their lives, and the gifts your presence brought into the world.

Funeral for Releasing Negative Energy
This is a ritual on the dying or releasing of something negative we wish to let go of and would want to release in a ritual burning. Within the ritual, we made a boat with an effigy (representing the negative energy), floated it on water and then burned it.
